This will continually update, so check back for new character builds and subjects!

Character Builds:

Most of the blog's content will be concentrated under this category because, as a storyteller, I find the most fun aspect of D&D for me is breathing life into fantastic characters and subsequently sharing them with all of you!

Announcements:

Occasionally, builds I've made will become outdated due to rule changes or the introduction of better options in new 5e companion books. When significant changes that impact multiple builds are introduced, I may post an addendum that adjusts multiple builds in one or announces how I will be handling builds in the face of the new changes. All such addendums can be found here.

Famous Favorites:

Popular characters in fantasy media are surprisingly easy to convert into D&D characters! For DMs running campaigns or one-offs in realms from Middle Earth to Westeros, this list of character builds is for you!

Coming soon...

The Optimum Suboptimum Opusculum:

Some classes just don't go together, or so you may think! This is a collection of suboptimally multiclassed characters done optimally. In other words, these characters won't be as impressive as the typical min/maxed builds, but they will be capable of things no other characters are!

Optimal Barbarian/Wizard: The Warrior Philosopher

The Unloved Ultimate Series:

A series where I demonstrate how certain subclasses can be unpopular, but never underpowered.
These builds are not multiclassed, even if doing so would improve them, as the aim is not to build the most powerful character but to to highlight each subclass' individual strengths and strategies.

Homebrew:

Occasionally, I dabble in home-brewing classes, subclasses,  races, magical items . . . the list goes on. This is where all of those things can be found.

Subclasses:

Path of the Totem Warrior: Horse Totem

    1. I'm planning on getting back to it soon! This summer and fall have been busy: I moved to Iceland for a graduate program in medieval studies. But, as things are finally calming down, expect more soon...
